About me

I am a researcher at the chair XXII of Prof. Pretschner at TUM since 2012. My work interest is in the area of defect models for quality assurance. Defect models are able to capture common and recurring mistakes during the development of software. They subsequently allow the derivation of (semi-) automatic tools aiming at the detection of the captured problems during quality assurance.

Before joining the chair in 2012, I was a bachelor's and master's student at the TU Kaiserslautern. There I was also working with Prof. Pretschner in the areas of applied cloud security and usage control.

While developing defect model concepts, I have worked with various companies to elicit and classify defect models using a defect model lifecycle framework. This framework allowed the documentation of tacit knowledge leading to process improvements and later operationalization of defect models in practice.
